W.A oil factory is part of a bigger portfolio of businesses and was established in 2016. It is an oilseed crushing and crude oil refining factory that produces sunflower oil, soybean oil, sesame seed oil and palm oil. In the past, it managed to import and distribute ETB 5 billion (USD 200 million) worth of palm oil through its trading business. W.A’s founder vision and hard work in palm oil import and trading paid off and motivated him to into edible oil project under the name of W.A Oil Factory and Distribution PLC.
